Final Night in the U.S.

We have just completed the “Staging” portion of Peace Corps in Philadelphia, which includes a general orientation about the Peace Corps as an organization. I was impressed with how thorough and professional the three staff members were. Also, the group going over to Armenia is amazing. Lots of different backgrounds and personalities, all of which make for an interesting and exciting group to travel with. Tomorrow it’s off to NYC and a total of roughly 17 hours of travel to our destination. My last meal (with a group of seven of us) included mozzarella for an appetizer and beer battered fish and chips. Hopefully I can muster a Philly Cheese Steak before we board the bus.

  1. Can’t wait to read about your trip, I’m a soon to be volunteer!

  2. Hopefully you made it over there without much trouble! Let us know how the trip went and how the new living arrangements are.
